Program Description The Traditional Undergraduate Nursing program option offers the Bachelor of Science degree BS after the successful completion of four years of the nursing curriculum. Program Goals The Department of Nursing goals are consistent with the mission of the University and reflect the philosophy of the nursing faculty. No applications will be accepted for these programs for the fall or spring sessions. We welcome students to apply to the traditional nursing track to obtain a BSN degree. After two years of fulltime faculty experience, graduates of the nurse educator program will be eligible to take the National League for Nursing NLN examination for the certified nurse educator.
